The Heritage League of Pierce County is comprised of more than 50 heritage organizations dedicated to preserving the rich history of Washington State’s Pierce County.
Our Mission is to:
Support individual and group efforts to preserve local history in Pierce County;
To advance the well-being of museums, historical societies, and heritage organizations throughout Pierce County;
To provide technical assistance and information to individuals and groups pertaining to heritage preservation in Pierce County;
To establish communication with state and local governments relative to heritage preservation matters.

The Heritage League Board Works to Support the Historic preservation Community
The Board for the Heritage League of Pierce County is proud to help create programs, workshops, and coordinate outreach activities that benefit the members and member organizations of the Heritage League of Pierce County, as well as help the county understand and appreciate its heritage. Board members serve 3 year terms, with two members cycling off annually. Elections are held at the full Member Meeting, which takes place annually in February.
