Take me out to the Ball Game!

The Heritage League of Pierce County is excited about our upcoming summer program focused on the Sports Heritage of our fair county!

On Monday, June 20th, we will meet at 3pm at the Shanaman Sports Museum, located inside the Tacoma Dome. Curator Marc Blau will give Heritage League of Pierce County members and their friends, family, and colleagues a special tour of the Sports Museum, opening it up just for us. Visit this Tacoma landmark and learn something about our sports history.

And then it is off to a Rainiers Game at 6pm! Watch as our home team takes on the Fresno Grizzlies at Cheney Stadium. We have blocked off seats for 50 of our members and their colleagues, friends and family. And we can get more if needed! The seats are near third base so the setting sun won’t get in the way of us catching all the action.

We’ve secured tickets plus a hot dog, chips and a drink at a special price of $12.50! Get your tickets from Sue Scott, President of the HLPC. We recommend coming to Shanaman’s and picking up the tickets for you and your group during the tour, but we can also meet you outside Cheney’s Stadium if need be.

As an official group that night, you can help us give a big “Hurra” when Heritage League of Pierce County shows up on the Jumbo Tron!

We look forward to seeing everyone on June 20th as we experience a taste of Pierce County’s sports heritage first hand!
